Dry Needling

What is Dry Needling?

Dry Needling involves the use of needles to stimulate and break up knotted or hard muscle tissue – called “trigger points” – usually located deeper in the body. In addition to pain, trigger points can affect the motor patterns so that muscle firings or mechanics are not normal.

In Physical Therapy, Dry Needling is a way to “reset” the musculoskeletal system.

Using a solid filament needle and our advanced knowledge of anatomy, biomechanics, physiology, and neurophysiology to treat the neuromusculoskeletal system to improve mobility, function, and pain.
